Baked apples with honey, cinnamon, walnuts and Walnut oil
Ingredients (for 6 people):
- 6 apples (ideally Golden Delicious)
- 75g runny honey
- 75g small walnut pieces
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp of Guenard 100% Virgin French Walnut oil
Method:
Preheat your oven to 180°C bake.
Meanwhile, wash and dry the apples. Core the clean apples using a corer or spoon if you don’t have one.
Chop the walnuts and combine with the honey and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Place the apples in an oven dish and fill the cored inside with the mixture, ensuring that they are all well filled.
Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 40 min, until the apples are golden and soft.
Serve them warm or even cold, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for those who wish!
